A Good Understanding

Deuteronomy 4:5: Behold, I have taught you statutes and judgments, even as the LORD my God commanded me, that ye should do so in the land whither ye go to possess it. 6 Keep therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.

Job 28:28: And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.

Psalms 111:10: The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.

Proverbs 1:7: The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

Proverbs 9:10: The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.

Job 8:9: (For we are but of yesterday, and know nothing, because our days upon earth are a shadow:)

1 Corinthians 4:4: For I know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby justified: but he that judgeth me is the Lord.

1 Corinthians 8:2: And if any man think that he knoweth any thing, he knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know.

1 Corinthians 2:6: Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought: 7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

Matthew 6:33: But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
